Opportunity:

First Assist - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule with a rotating day off
* Call required with one rotating call day per week
* 20 orientation hours required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First time travelers accepted
* Must be comfortable with vein harvesting for CABG procedures
* Must be comfortable assisting in on and off pump CABGs, VATs, and valve replacements
* Specialties include orthopedics, neurology, gynecology, general surgery, ENT, vascular, urology, Da Vinci XI robotics, and cardiovascular procedures
* Required scrubbing experience in general, orthopedics, orthopedic/spine, orthopedic/total joints, urology, endoscopic/laparoscopic, gynecology, and robotics
* Preferred experience in vascular, neuro/spine, bariatrics, podiatry, ENT, carotid endarterectomy, endovascular aneurysm repair, femoral popliteal bypass graft, and robotic assisted gynecological procedures
* Required equipment experience: operating room table, Hana/fracture table, stirrups, Bovie, laparoscopic surgery equipment, and Da Vinci XI robotics
* May float to labor and delivery if needed
* Facility serves adult and geriatric patient populations
* 18 operating rooms with approximately 35 procedures per day
* Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA
* Required skills: inpatient, outpatient, trauma, case and crash cart, first assisting, and aseptic technique
* 50-mile radius rule applies, no local candidates
