Job Details:

* Unit hours of operation are 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
* Call begins at 3:00 PM when assigned
* Weekend call covers Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when assigned
* Must be proficient in scrubbing cardiac cases requiring bypass and related procedures in the mediastinum
* Thoracic surgery experience required including daVinci assisted procedures and open thoracotomy
* Experience with VATS procedures and procedures initiating ECMO required
* Experience with pericardial window procedures required
* Perform a variety of cardiac cases including CABG, valve replacement, and repair of aortic dissections
* Experience with TAVRs and daVinci assisted lobectomy, wedge resections, and mediastinal lymph node biopsy required
* Must be able to take call when assigned
* Hospital provided scrubs
* Required certification: BLS

This facility is home to a dedicated cardiovascular and thoracic surgical unit located on the 4th floor of the heart hospital. The unit specializes in a comprehensive range of cardiac and thoracic procedures, offering advanced surgical capabilities including robotic-assisted surgery, ECMO, and complex aortic interventions. The team is committed to delivering high-quality cardiovascular care in a dynamic and specialized surgical environment.
