Opportunity:
RN - Bone Marrow Transplant
Job Details:
* 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Every other weekend required
* Call required
* Charge experience preferred
* Previous charge nurse experience preferred
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of 14 patients
* Bone marrow transplant experience required; not required to have experience administering cells
* Perform cell and gene therapy administration
* Administer blood products and chemotherapy and conditioning treatments
* Provide supportive care and triage
* Skills include accessing and managing ports, central line blood draws, central line and implanted line care, IV push administration of chemotherapy, PICC line care, phlebotomy, and infusion pump management
* Experience with inpatient oncology, CAR-T, BMT, cytotoxic therapy, stem cell therapies, and isolation precautions and PPE required
* Required certifications: BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC) preferred, OCN preferred
* Active Michigan (MI) license required at time of submission; compact licenses are not accepted
* Two manager or supervisor references required; charge nurse references are not accepted
* All certifications must be obtained prior to start date
* No pre-hire modules required; modules completed onsite during orientation
