Opportunity:

Medical-Surgical ICU

Job Details:

* 3x12 day shifts
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period required
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* LTAC experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Patients served: adults and geriatrics
* Special equipment: CRRT (NXXT Stage)
* Skills required include arterial line management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patient, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, isolation precautions/PPE, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, suctioning (ETT, NT), titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, and ventilator management
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy

This healthcare facility operates a Medical-Surgical ICU with 16 beds across 12 rooms, maintaining a daily census of 14 patients. The unit provides comprehensive critical care services with robust interdisciplinary support and access to specialized equipment.
