Electrophysiology Technician

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of EP lab experience required; Cath, IR, and EP experience preferred
* Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12-hour shifts or 40 hours for 8/10-hour shifts
* On-call required
* Will float to all 3 hospital locations within 20 miles
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or Red Cross); RCVT and RCIS preferred
* EPIC charting system experience required
* Scrub color: White
* Free parking available in any unrestricted space
* Skills required include: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, interpretation of dysrhythmias, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, insertion/programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, tilt table study, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, room circulator, scrub to maintain sterile field, and isolation precautions/PPE
* Experience working with middle adult and older adult patient populations required
* EKG and pharmacology test required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each; travelers will be cancelled if they fail
* Required modules must be completed prior to start and average 6 to 15 hours
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; requests submitted after will not be approved
* 2 references from a direct supervisor, manager, assistant nurse manager, or director required
* Strict do not call in policy enforced

The facility utilizes EPIC for charting and is committed to providing a smoke-free environment for staff and patients alike.
