Open Position: RN - Acute Med Surg Acute Care

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2093.80

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg/Telemetry

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Every other weekend requirement
* Holiday coverage as needed
* Patient ratio of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights
* 44-bed unit with a staff of 40
* Telemetry monitored on a separate unit
* Nurse aides (CNAs) available at a ratio of 1:8 to 1:10, may serve as sitters
* Floating required to all acute care, cardiology, and EC for acute care patient holds
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Charting system: Meditech (experience preferred but not required)
* General orientation: 1 week including EMR training
* Floor-specific orientation: 2 days
* Acute care setting
* 1 year of experience required with 1 travel assignment
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS (both must be AHA)
* Must reside within a strict 75-mile radius from the hospital based on address on driver's license

This acute care facility operates a 44-bed unit providing comprehensive medical and telemetry services to the surrounding community. The facility utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system and maintains CNA support staff to assist the nursing team. The organization offers a structured orientation program to ensure healthcare professionals are well-prepared to deliver high-quality patient care across multiple acute care settings.
