Pre-Op RN

Job Details:

* Start times vary between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM
* Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends
* No on-call required
* Specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, cardiac, and neurology
* Must be a well-rounded RN with inpatient experience - required
* Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty required; first-time travelers accepted with 3+ years in specialty
* Epic charting system experience required
* Block schedule or specific day requests cannot be accommodated
* Facility may call off once per two-week pay period (guaranteed hours policy)
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Daily census of approximately 40 patients with 15 beds on unit
* Royal blue scrubs required
* Required certifications: BLS, PALS
* Travel experience required
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* All RTO must be submitted at time of presentation; scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
