Opportunity:

MA - Outpatient Clinic

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required with at least 1 year of outpatient experience
* Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP accredited program required
* BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
* High school diploma or GED required
* Venipuncture experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* No weekend shifts required
* Floating required to other clinics in the tower
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* Adult patient population
* Perform skills including administering medication, obtaining vital signs, rooming patients, blood glucose via glucometer, obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG, venipuncture, telephone triage, urine UA/clean catch, nebulizer treatments, chart preparation, scheduling appointments, and insurance verification
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, phlebotomy, pharmacy, and unit secretary

The facility supports interdisciplinary care with access to phlebotomy, pharmacy, interpretation services, and unit secretarial support. Staff work across multiple clinic locations within the same tower, providing diverse clinical exposure in an outpatient setting.
