Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $4023.00

Opportunity:

LTAC MS/TELE - DAYS

Job Details:

* Day shift position working Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
* 36 or 48 hours per week also accepted
* Contract options available for 13 or 26 weeks
* Weekend shifts supported by rotating call schedule among 6 to 8 staff members
* On-call required after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call staff
* Minimum 2 years of MS/Telemetry experience required
* Neurology experience required
* LTAC experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Skills required include complex wound care, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care and management
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of 15 patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Floating to other units or campuses may be required based on census needs, limited to qualified and competency-documented tasks
* Pre-assignment testing and modules required to be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information

This long-term acute care facility provides specialized medical and telemetry services to adult and geriatric patients. The facility supports an interdisciplinary care model that includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary support.
