Job Details:

* ARRT(R) with NJ license or RCIS accepted; NJ license must be in place prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R) or RCIS
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; may consider 1 year based on experience
* Serve as room circulator; scrub and maintain sterile field
* Work settings include diagnostic cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology
* Responsibilities include equipment set up, EKG lead placement, prep access site, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, stocking supplies, and sterile technique
* Vascular procedures include angioplasty and endovascular interventions
* Cath lab procedures include ASD closures, cardiac implant closure device, stent placement, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, interpretation of dysrhythmias, left heart catheterization, PCI, permanent/temporary pacemaker insertion, PA line insertion, and right heart catheterization
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* On-call requirement: 14-15 shifts per month; every other week Sunday through Saturday
* No weekend shifts on-call only on weekends
* Holiday requirement: On-call only; 1 winter or 1 summer holiday required, as needed
* Holiday policy: Must work 2 of the 3 holidays
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Hospital-provided scrubs
* Candidates must float within their skillset without exception
* First-time travelers accepted; locals accepted
