Job Details:
* Block scheduling required
* Every other weekend shift required
* No on-call required
* Position will float between units
* Patient ratios depend on acuity
* Provide floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response coverage
* Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Preferred patient diagnoses experience: pediatrics and adolescents
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Any color
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; at least 1 year required
* Washington state license must be in hand at time of submission
* Preferred equipment experience: Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Trilogy, LTV1250
* Preferred experience: Trauma Level I
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT
* Required skills include: aerosol set up (mask and trach), BiPAP, CPAP, emergency department, extubation, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), nitric oxide (INo), tracheostomy care/management, weaning from mechanical ventilation, rapid response, and additional respiratory therapy skills
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility
Facility:
This is a short-term acute care facility and Level II Trauma Center with Level II Pediatric Trauma Center designation. The facility operates as a teaching hospital with 629 total staffed beds and 644 licensed beds. Specialized units include a Level 4 NICU, Medical ICU, Cardiac ICU, and PICU, offering a comprehensive range of advanced patient care services across multiple specialties.
