Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

RRT - Days

Job Details:

* Day shift position with weekends and holidays required
* Every other weekend required
* Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
* No on-call required
* Block scheduling not available
* Guaranteed hours based on contracted shifts, with a call-off policy of 2 shifts per 13-week assignment; once met, all contracted hours are guaranteed
* Maximum of 4 days RTO permitted per contract; no holiday RTO will be accepted
* Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience required
* Must be comfortable working with both adults and pediatric patients, including in the ICU
* Must pass the Advanced EKG exam as part of compliance prior to start
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Solid black or black and white
* Short-term acute care facility with Level III Trauma Center designation
* All call-outs for scheduled shifts may require a makeup shift as deemed necessary by the department

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level III Trauma Center that also serves as a teaching hospital. With 733 total staffed beds, the facility provides a wide range of medical services and supports an interdisciplinary care environment. The organization utilizes Epic for charting and maintains high standards for patient care across multiple campuses and units.
