Open Position: Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Tech with EP Experience

Job Details:

* Work four 10-hour rotating shifts either 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* Schedule rotates approximately 2-3 weeks of 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts and 1 week of 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM shifts
* On-call hours run from 4:30 PM to 6:00 AM with a 30-minute response time required
* Call coverage required approximately 5-6 days per 4-week schedule, breaking down to approximately 1 weekend per month and 1 day per week
* Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call coverage required
* Holiday call covers the entire holiday day and associated weekend if the holiday falls on a Friday or Monday
* Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
* Scrub and document cases and stock rooms
* Scrub and assist physicians with all EP procedures
* Monitor and circulate cases in EP lab
* Operate EP recording systems including Carto and Abbott systems
* Work with equipment including Toshiba, Carto, and Abbott systems
* Experience required with Impella, IABP, INARI, Electrophysiology, PVC, PT, Cryo or transseptal ablations, laser lead extractions, device work, and EP recording systems
* Average of 15-18 cases per day across 3 Cath Labs
* Work exclusively within the Cath Lab and EP - no floating to other units
* OR scrubs provided daily
* Charting system: EPIC
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CI), or ARRT (VI), WV Radiologic Technology license
* BSN not required
* Valid state license required at time of submission

This acute care facility operates three fully equipped catheterization labs handling an average of 15-18 cases per day, serving a cardiology patient population. The facility offers comprehensive cardiac interventional and electrophysiology services, supported by advanced imaging and recording technology. The organization maintains high standards for its cardiovascular services team and provides OR scrubs daily to its staff.
