Opportunity:

PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Details:

* 5x8-hour day shifts per week
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers are accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, TX PTA License
* Charting system experience required (any system accepted)
* Must be proficient with a wide range of skills including acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, and skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings
* Equipment experience required: crutches, gait belt, rolling walker, standard walker, shoulder slings, lower extremity prosthetics, and upper extremity prosthetics
* Must be comfortable treating conditions including hip fractures/injuries, post-op cervical surgery, post-op shoulder repair, post-op spinal surgery, spinal conditions, total hip replacement, and total knee replacement
* Must be comfortable working with neurological conditions including cognitive disorders, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury
