Opportunity:

CT Tech - Radiology

Job Details:

* Work four 10-hour shifts per week
* 50% on-call requirement with every other weekend
* Float between X-ray and CT departments as needed
* Review patient history and physician's orders prior to procedures
* Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
* Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered
* Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate
* Prepare equipment and supplies and implement safety standards
* Perform appropriate quality control procedures on equipment
* Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions as necessary
* Position patients and perform imaging procedures
* Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results
* Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure
* Enter, transmit, and report scan results
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Radiology and CT required
* Associate degree in radiologic technology required; CT technology certificate program preferred
* BLS certification required (must be through the American Heart Association)
* ARRT certification in Radiology and CT required
