Opportunity:

Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

* Tuesday through Friday schedule working 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Four 9-hour shifts per week totaling 36 hours per week
* On-call requirement includes one weekday night per week and every 4th weekend
* Weekend and holiday on-call rotation required
* Cyclic scheduling with 8 or 9 hour shifts
* General ultrasound only - no vascular or echo procedures
* Perform imaging on adults and pediatrics, including biopsies
* Work with 2 ultrasound scanners in the radiology department covering general X-ray and ultrasound
* Radiology supervisor on shift
* EMR system: EPIC; PACS system: McKesson
* Equipment: Siemens ultrasound scanners
* X-ray experience required
* One week orientation Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Required certifications: ARDMS, ARRT, BLS
* Valid driver's license required at submittal
* Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
* Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius rule applies
