Opportunity:
Day/10 Hours/AM start (7 AM or 8:30 AM)
Job Details:
* Day shift position with 10-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM or 8:30 AM (8-hour shifts may be discussed if preferred)
* At least 1 year of MRI experience required; 2 years preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Perform MRI procedures including neuro, MSK, abdomen, MRCPs, and breast exams (no cardiac)
* Operate GE 1.5 Signa and GE 1.5 Optima equipment
* Skilled in a wide range of imaging areas including abdomen, adult acute care, adult outpatient, brain, breast, cervical, chest, ER/trauma, face/soft tissue neck, female pelvis, hip/bony pelvis, knee, lumbar, male pelvis, shoulder, and thoracic
* Proficient in gradient echo imaging, spin echo images, T-1 and T-2 weighted images, maximum intensity projection (MIP), multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), and image post-processing
* Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media required
* Ability to start peripheral IVs required
* PACS experience required
* Use of surface coils required
* Weekend call required (Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; facility usually staffs Saturday)
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics; adolescent experience preferred
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, ARRT (R)(MRI), CRT/California license
* California IV certification preferred prior to start
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 professional references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years
