Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* Approximately 120 hours of call total per contract, self-scheduled between weekday and weekend
* One weekend shift required per 6 weeks
* Holiday call preferred but not required
* Call response time of 30 minutes with a sleep room available to stay on-site if needed
* Set schedules with option to block schedule
* 16 operating suites with an average of 30 cases per day
* Common cases include General, Ortho, Robotics, Neuro, Spine, Urology, and ENT
* Required experience in General, Neuro, and Robotics
* No floating requirements; in extreme need, may float within Zone 1 facilities
* Scrubs provided on-site
* One week of unit/department specific orientation required; clinician must be in state for orientation week
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Charting system: EPIC
* BSN not required
* Must reside outside a 60-mile radius; driver's license must be submitted
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA, Dora CO

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a robust surgical services department with 16 operating suites and an average of 30 cases per day. The department handles a wide variety of complex surgical cases including general surgery, orthopedics, robotics, neurosurgery, spine, urology, and ENT procedures. The facility utilizes EPIC as its charting system and provides scrubs to all surgical staff, maintaining a well-equipped and organized environment for patient care.
