Opportunity:
Radiology Technologist
Job Details:
* Perform and process radiographic (including portables) and fluoroscopic radiology tests
* Obtain images using appropriate equipment and transfer images to PACS
* Document tests and procedures via computer
* Assist with office functions, clinical functions, anesthesia aide support, and materials management
* Perform pregnancy tests, EKGs, and BSGs as needed
* Assist with case cart checks, room turnovers, phase II beds, and supply management
* Open sterile supplies under direct supervision of RN/ST
* Monitor radiology supplies, equipment certification, and maintain lead apron log
* Report equipment malfunctions and oversee routine equipment maintenance
* Check OR schedule daily and coordinate radiology or clinical/office coverage with Clinical Supervisor and Nurse Manager
* Apply knowledge of aseptic technique when performing tests during surgery
* Maintain confidentiality of all records and information
* Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program
* Prior experience as a radiology technician required
* Basic computer operational skills required
* Must have physical ability to assist with lifting, moving, and positioning patients and equipment
* Current certification as a radiology technician required
* BLS certification required per American Heart Association Healthcare Provider standards
