Open Position: RN - House Supervisor

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2640.04

Opportunity:

RN - ICU Charge/Supervisor

Job Details:

* Shifts scheduled on Sundays, Mondays, and Fridays
* Minimum 2 years of recent Charge RN experience required
* ICU Supervisory hospital experience required
* California RN license required
* ACLS and BLS certifications required (must be through the American Heart Association)
* Develop day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area
* Direct and develop nursing staff through coaching, counseling, scheduling, and performance management
* Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff
* Provide physical and psychological support for patients, friends, and families
* Maintain nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
* Monitor and maintain patient care standards in adherence with state board of nursing and state nurse practice act requirements
* Maintain safe, clean working environment and enforce infection-control policies and protocols
* Oversee documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records
* Ensure operation and maintenance of medical and administrative equipment
* Manage nursing supplies inventory and monitor expenditures against budget
