Opportunity:

RN - MICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Assigned to the Medical ICU (MICU) on Floor 4
* Patient ratio of 2:1 (estimated, never guaranteed)
* Work with equipment including CRRT
* EMR system: Meditech/CPN
* Minimum 1 year of current ICU RN hospital experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
* Perform moderate sedation and hemodynamic monitoring and airway management procedures
* Prior Meditech experience preferred
* Experience traveling to large trauma facilities preferred
* Sono IV and CRRT experience preferred
* Strong teamwork, coachability, adaptability, and positive attitude required

Facility:

This medical center is a large acute care facility featuring a 26-bed Medical ICU staffed by a team of 65 professionals. The unit operates with charge nurses, registered nurses, and patient care technicians across shifts, providing high-acuity care to critically ill patients. The facility supports advanced procedures including CRRT, moderate sedation, and hemodynamic monitoring, with comprehensive resources to support traveling healthcare professionals.
