Job Details:

* Block scheduling type
* No on-call required
* No weekends required
* No floating between units
* At least 1 year of sterile processing experience required
* Must be certified in sterile processing (CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification accepted)
* Robotics instrumentation experience required, with Da Vinci Robotics experience greatly preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: any color permitted
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Must have experience with the following skills: acute hospital OR, cleaning equipment, high-level disinfection, use of washers/sterilizers, case cart, sterilization wrapping procedures, sets/tray assembly, equipment documentation
* Specialty area experience includes: Ear/Nose/Throat, General, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Plastics, Urology, Endoscopy, Laparoscopic, Vascular, Ortho/Total Joints, Fiber Optics, and more
* Experience with biological indicators, chemical indicators, steam sterilization testing/monitoring, and immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS)
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during the compliance process and prior to start

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility is a large hospital with 418 total staffed beds and 21 operating rooms. The facility utilizes Epic as its charting system and supports a wide range of surgical specialties. The sterile processing department works with advanced robotic surgical systems and handles a comprehensive scope of instrumentation needs across multiple surgical disciplines.
