Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts from 7:45 PM to 8:15 AM
* Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only
* No RTO allowed on weekends
* 36 hours offered per week
* No call requirement
* No float requirement
* Daily caseload of 150-200 scans across 4 rooms
* Typical case load for one tech in an 8-hour shift is 8-12 patients
* First shift typically has 4-5 techs; second shift (after 5:00 PM) has 2-3 techs; third shift has 1 tech; weekends have 2 techs
* Very fast-paced emergency department environment
* Perform routine ED scans, Code Stroke, and trauma patient imaging
* CT procedure experience required: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, and Multiplanar Reconstruction
* Patient population includes Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required skills: Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU
* Preferred skills: Outpatient, IV Starts, PACS, Contrast, Visage
* GE and Siemens Scanner experience required Siemens Force experience is a must
* Special equipment: Siemens Force, S3000, and Sequoia scanners
* Charting system: EPIC and Visage
* Scrubs: Royal Blue
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R)(CT)

Facility:

This is a large 650-bed hospital that has recently transitioned to a Level II Trauma Center, offering a high-acuity environment with a robust emergency department. The facility operates multiple CT scanning rooms and utilizes advanced imaging technology including Siemens Force scanners. The department supports a high daily scan volume and serves a diverse patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics.
