Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg Stepdown

Job Details:

* Care for adult Med/Surg patients on a progressive care stepdown pulmonary/medical-surgical unit
* Patient population includes complex diagnoses such as cardiac, respiratory, GI, oncology, diabetes (including DKA), sepsis, pneumonia, and infections
* Every other weekend shift required
* No block scheduling permitted
* Requests for full weeks off during November through December will not be approved
* Must be willing to work a minimum of 3 out of 6 winter holidays
* Float requirement to other universal/progressive areas within affiliated facilities
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working at a level one trauma facility
* Must have progressive care, acute care, telemetry, and Med/Surg experience
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Kentucky or compact nursing license required
* Required onboarding exams: EKG, Math, Med/Pharmacology, Progressive Care Competency, Progressive Care Skills, and CORE exams

The facility maintains high compliance standards and provides comprehensive onboarding to ensure quality patient care across its affiliated locations.
