Opportunity:
RN - Observation Unit
Job Details:
* Work in an Observation Unit managing CIWA/ETOH withdrawal, Stroke, and ED holding patients
* Patient ratio of 1:5-6
* Every other weekend requirement
* Must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit needs
* Float between all MS/Tele/IMC units and ED holding as needed within your skillset
* Scrubs: Navy Blue
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* EPIC charting experience required
* Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Minimum 1 year of acute care experience relevant to the position required
* IV therapy skills required: blood product administration, central, peripheral, and PICC line care, and starting/maintaining IVs
* Cardiac and medication skills required: dysrhythmia management, telemetry (on-unit and remote monitoring), and Heparin Protocols
* General clinical skills required: phlebotomy and isolation precautions/PPE
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
* First-time travelers and local candidates accepted
