Opportunity:

RN - MS/Tele Ortho

Job Details:

* Night shift schedule with every other weekend requirement
* Holiday rotation required as needed
* No call or standby requirement
* Patient ratio of 1:5 with nurse aide support at a maximum ratio of 1:12
* 34-bed unit focused on total joints, cardiac rule out, pneumonia, psych, and general surgery post-op patients
* Required to titrate drips including weight-based heparin
* Experience with Nitro, Insulin (may initiate and then transfer), and low dose dopamine and dobutamine required
* Must be able to read telemetry strips as telemetry/monitor techs and RNs both read strips
* Charge nurse and house supervisor available on unit
* Equipment experience required includes CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen
* First to float - may float up to Med Tele, PCU, or ICU to care for MedSurg acuity patients or ER holding
* Primary placement at St. Clare Hospital with potential float requirement throughout Region Two facilities in Tacoma, WA, Enumclaw, WA, and Lakewood, WA
* Charting system: EPIC - may test out if experienced, followed by meeting with unit educator and 1 full shift orientation
* Any color professional scrubs required
* Required certification: BLS (AHA)
* BSN not required
