Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts Friday through Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Level 1 Trauma, Acute Care setting
* 17 operating room suites with an average of 35 cases per day on weekdays and 10 cases per day on weekends
* Common cases include orthopedic, neuro, and general surgery
* Trauma experience required
* Scrubbing is not required for RNs
* No weeknight or weekend call requirements
* Holiday coverage required if holiday falls on a scheduled weekend day
* Call response time of 30 minutes required
* No floating requirements
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Charting conducted in EPIC
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
* Must be within 60 miles of facility and provide a valid driver's license upon submission
* Must be present in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are remote
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks

This acute care facility operates a large surgical department with 17 operating room suites handling a high volume of cases daily across multiple specialties. As a Level 1 Trauma Center, the facility provides comprehensive surgical services including orthopedic, neurological, and general surgery procedures. The organization supports a structured orientation process and utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system to ensure seamless patient care and documentation.
