Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment
* 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM days, with rotating nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (nights occur 1 week out of every 6)
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Weekend availability required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Grey scrubs required
* Parking fees of $10 per month
* Pennsylvania Respiratory Care License required via Board of Medicine or Board of Osteopathic Medicine
* CRT or RRT registry required
* Administer therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies
* Complete documentation required to measure, monitor, and ensure department effectiveness including charting, billing, IPOC, and patient/family education
* Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures according to hospital and department policies
* Provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory disorders under licensed medical direction
* Provide instruction to patients and other members of the healthcare team as needed
* Perform other duties as assigned or required
