Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2067.80

Opportunity:

OR Surgical Tech - DORA Required

Job Details:

* 4x10 shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Scheduling assigned by charge nurse with schedule set 6 weeks at a time and rotating days off
* No on-call required; case completion for the day expected
* No weekend requirement
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Scrubs provided
* DORA state license required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Must be proficient in scrubbing arthroscopies and sports medicine cases, most specifically ACL surgeries
* Cases include all arthroscopies (knee, hips, shoulders, ankles, wrist), knee and shoulder repairs, total shoulders, total ankles, foot and ankle cases, and hand procedures
* ACL reconstruction is the most common surgery performed; proficiency required
* No total knees, hips, or spine cases performed at this facility
* Must demonstrate 3/4 competency for arthroscopies on skills checklist
* Required skills include: Ambulatory OR, arthroscopy, arthrotomy, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, ankle fusion, bunionectomy, carpal tunnel release, care of scopes and fiber optic equipment, case cart, cell saver, closed/open reduction of fractures, drills, electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources, hallux vagus arthroplasty/arthrodesis, metatarsal surgery, and radiation safety
* Patient age groups served: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Facility operates 6 rooms with a daily census of 25
* No float within service line required
