Job Details:

* Primarily 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with no block schedules
* No set block scheduling - self-schedule call with a team of 3
* 1 long call shift per week occurring Monday through Thursday
* 1 weekend call approximately every 5 weeks (Friday after shift through Monday at 7:00 AM)
* Assigned weekend call is in addition to 1 weeknight of call per week
* CV team takes call all weekend long with no shift work during weekend call
* Call response time required within 30 minutes
* Weeknight and weekend call requirements vary depending on staffing - typically 10 days of call per month when fully staffed, up to 15 days of call per month
* Holiday call rotated with the team of 3
* Work in 1 main CV OR suite with 1 backup suite
* Common cases include CABG, valve procedures, TAVR, VATS/thoracotomy, robotic lung procedures, and aneurysm repairs
* Cases vary week to week - typically no more than 1 CV case per day
* Must be able to scrub outside of CVOR, specifically for C-sections
* Floating limited to main OR or Outpatient Surgery Center only - no travel to other sites
* Unit orientation up to 1 week
* Charting system: Cerner
* BSN not required
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA
