Opportunity:

Lead CT Tech

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* 12-week contract
* Call required on a rotational basis
* Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a lead CT Tech
* Previous charge/lead experience required
* Minimum 2 years of overall experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, BLS, FL State License
* Proficient in a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, colonography, myelography, PET CT, and vascular CTA
* Experience with 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
* Skilled in multiplanar reconstruction and region of interest measurement
* Ability to perform CT arthrography, drainage, aspirations, and biopsies
* Experience working with adult acute care, pediatric acute care, ICU, and emergency department patients
* Comfortable with isolation precautions and PPE
* Ability to start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture
* Preparation and administration of contrast media required
* Radiation safety and radiation therapy planning experience required
* PACS experience required
* Works with GE 64 slice and 256 slice CT equipment
* Treats patients across all age groups including infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics

Facility:

This facility is a large community hospital with 350 beds and a daily census of 150 patients. The radiology department operates four CT rooms and provides interdisciplinary support across multiple service lines. The facility handles a broad range of CT imaging needs including emergency, ICU, and specialized procedural cases, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for experienced imaging professionals.
