ARRT MRI Tech
Job Details:
* Day shift, Monday through Friday
* On-call required one night per week from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM
* No weekends required
* No block scheduling required
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* At least 1 year of MRI Tech experience required
* Travel experience required
* Epic charting system experience is a hard stop requirement candidates without Epic experience will not be considered
* Siemens experience required; facility uses Siemens Magnetom Vida 3T and 2 GE SIGNA HDe 1.5T equipment
* Required certifications: ARRT (MR), BLS
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Treats patients across all age groups including infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Required skills include: MRI of abdomen, brain, breast, chest, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, hip, knee, shoulder, foot, hand, upper and lower extremities, male and female pelvis, and more
* Additional skills include: MRA/MRV imaging, MRCP, cardiac MRI, MR angiography, spectroscopy, perfusion imaging, diffusion imaging, CINE studies, image post-processing, contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, radiation safety, and PACS
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Level I and Level II Trauma experience preferred
* Scrub color: Any color scrubs permitted for Allied staff
* No parking fee
* 40 orientation hours required
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Facility:
This short-term acute care, Level II Trauma teaching hospital is a comprehensive medical facility with 209 total staff beds and a daily census of approximately 160 patients. The facility provides a wide range of interdisciplinary support services including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and patient transportation. As a teaching hospital, the organization is committed to high standards of clinical excellence and patient care across a diverse patient population.
