Opportunity:
Job Details:
* Work 12-hour day/night rotating shifts with every other weekend and rotating holidays
* 8-hour and 12-hour shift options available
* Weekend or straight night status will be considered
* Minimum 2 years recent respiratory therapist experience required
* Must have level 4 NICU experience including high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, high-risk deliveries, and gestational ages 22+ weeks
* Experience with NICU and/or PICU patient population required, adult experience also beneficial
* Required certifications: RRT or CRT via NBRC, BLS (AHA), NRP, and PALS (AHA)
* ACLS certification preferred
* North Dakota state license required or willing to apply within 72 hours of offer acceptance
* Work with Epic documentation system and various respiratory equipment including Hamilton G5 & C1 ventilators, Omnicell medication cabinets, and specialized NICU equipment
* Dress code: Steel Gray scrubs for Peds/PICU or blue hospital-provided scrubs for NICU
* Perform respiratory therapy assessments, arterial punctures, ventilator management, medication delivery, airway clearance, and assist with intubations
* Participate in emergency response teams, ICU rounds, and patient transport
* Work in team environment with 6-14 other RTs per shift at main campus
* Opportunity to pick up extra shifts
* Must badge in and out at facility
* Local rate applies to candidates living within 80 miles of facility
