Open Position: Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Opportunity:

CVOR Tech (Main/West Campus)

Job Details:

* Work 5 x 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM plus on-call responsibilities
* On-call required up to 50% of the time from end of shift to next morning with a 30-minute call response time
* On-call required up to 50% of weekends
* Acute care setting
* Facility operates 6 ORs (including 1 CVOR) and 1 Hybrid room
* Handle 20-30 cases per day including 1-2 CV cases or up to 4 TAVR procedures
* Common cases include CABG, Aortic Valve, Mitral Valve, and TAVR procedures
* Scrubbing required for OR techs
* Minimum 1 year of open heart experience required
* Charge nurse and specialty leads available as resources; house supervisor in-house from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM only
* Scrub techs available on the team
* Hospital provides scrubs
* Charting system: Cerner EMR
* Required certifications: BLS Certification
* Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract; 3 shifts if contract is under 13 weeks
