Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Opportunity:

RN - MS-Tele Float

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Float pool position covering multiple units including General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
* Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 based on acuity
* May be asked to float into other acuity levels including ICU (low acuity holds), PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele
* 6-9 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
* May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
* Rare call or standby requirement for low census situations
* Schedule is set by leadership for 6 weeks at a time; travelers expected to be flexible to fill gaps in permanent scheduling
* All time off requests must be submitted prior to starting assignment
* 1-2 days of orientation with a preceptor
* Must have 2 years of MS-Tele experience; prior neuro experience preferred
* Required to titrate Heparin drips
* RT equipment experience required including vents, CPAP, and BiPap
* Nurse aides available on unit
* Charting system: EPIC
* Any color scrubs permitted
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
* BSN not required
* Must reside within 60 miles of facility; driver's license must be submitted
