Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* 12-hour day shifts with weekends and holidays as scheduled
* 6 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule (weekends include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts)
* Holiday shifts may be required
* No on-call or standby call requirements
* No floating requirements
* Handle 20-25 treatments per day
* Work in NICU and/or PICU settings treating pediatric and neonatal patients
* Perform all aspects of respiratory care including aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA, airway management, and intrahospital transport
* Operate Hamilton and Servo ventilators, Respironics and Hamilton BiPAP, and Fisher Paykel HFNC equipment
* Assist with intubation (independent intubation not required)
* Minimum 2 years of experience working in PICU and/or Level 4 or greater NICU required
* RRT credential preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and NRP
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrub color: Stone/Light Gray
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract

Facility:

This acute care facility operates specialized pediatric and neonatal intensive care units, providing comprehensive respiratory care services to some of the most vulnerable patient populations. The facility maintains a strong staffing model with approximately 8 respiratory therapists per shift and offers department-specific orientation tailored to each clinician's previous experience. The organization supports a collaborative care environment with hospitalists and intensivists in-house at all times.
