Opportunity:
RCP - NICU/ICU
Job Details:
* 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend required (Friday + Saturday OR Saturday + Sunday)
* NICU and Adult experience required - will cover both units
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS; RRT or CRT preferred
* Formal NICU training and at least 1 year of NICU experience required to cover the NICU unit
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Preferred equipment experience: Avea ventilator
* Skills required include but are not limited to: Adult Critical Care, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Mechanical Ventilation, Tracheostomy Care/Management, Intubation Assist, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nitric Oxide (iNO), Oscillating Ventilator, Bubble CPAP, Pulmonary Hygiene, and Bronchoscopy
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 9-point workload
* Floating may be required to other Swedish facilities
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Please be flexible with availability as this is a small department

This facility features an 18-bed ICU, a Level II Emergency Department, and a Medical-Surgical Department. The facility also operates a Level II, 8-bed NICU, providing specialized care for neonatal patients.
