RN - Ortho

Job Details:

* Seasonal travel position working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Work on an Orthopedic/Neurology unit with 36 beds
* Patient ratio of 5:1 for RNs with 8-12 patients per tech
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge RN, RNs to volume, and 1-2 techs
* Work with equipment including immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment devices
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform and assist with procedures including total joints (knee, hip, shoulder) and spine surgery
* Minimum 1 year of current Ortho RN or Medical/Surgical experience in a hospital setting required
* BLS certification required
* Orthopedic/spine experience preferred
* ACLS certification preferred
* Ideal candidate is energetic, empathetic, and has a good sense of humor
