Opportunity:

Occupational Therapist

Job Details:

* Work 8-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
* Inpatient setting with weekend rotation required
* No RTO approved outside of one or two long weekend requests
* No RTO over holidays
* Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience required; 2 years preferred
* EPIC experience required
* Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) required if license obtained on or after January 2007
* Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required
* Complete evaluations to ensure quality standards and address assessment areas requiring attention
* Use appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans for patients
* Provide therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques
* Establish individualized care and discharge plans and ensure plans are communicated to appropriate parties
* Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines
* Supervise assigned assistants
* Serve as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups

This acute care facility has been providing care to the community since 1959 and features 162 beds. The facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and serves as a county designated trauma center.
