Opportunity:

LTAC MS/TELE - NIGHT

Job Details:

* Night shift position on a Long-Term Acute Care Medical/Telemetry unit
* 36 or 48 hours per week accepted; standard schedule is 40 hours per week Monday through Friday
* Contract options available for 13 or 26 weeks
* Weekends are supported by rotating on-call shared among 6 to 8 staff members
* On-call responsibilities begin after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by Primary and Backup call
* Minimum 2 years of Medical/Telemetry experience required
* Neurology experience required
* LTAC experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Required skills include complex wound care, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care and management
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with a daily census of 15
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Floating to other units and campuses may be required based on census needs, limited to qualified areas where competencies have been demonstrated
* Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information
