Pharmacist Inpatient

Job Details:

* 7 on, 7 off schedule running Wednesday through Tuesday
* Midnight shift with weekend coverage required
* 7 nights on/7 nights off scheduling block type
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers will be considered
* Community hospital experience required
* Inpatient/acute care experience required
* Required certifications: Chemo/Hazardous Drug, IV Certification, PharmD, RPh
* Required skills include: antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy, cardiac dosing, carousel system, chemotherapy, compounding, geriatric dosing, high-alert medications, IV piggyback, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, Pyxis, renal dosing, sterile technique, therapeutic medication monitoring, and Warfarin dosing
* Serve patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Facility has a daily census of 480 with 500 beds
* EPIC experience preferred
* No pre-approved time off

This is a large inpatient acute care facility with a 500-bed capacity and a daily census of 480 patients. The facility serves a broad patient population spanning all age groups from neonates to geriatrics and supports a wide range of pharmacy services including chemotherapy, sterile compounding, and clinical dosing. The organization maintains high standards for pharmacy practice and provides a dynamic environment for experienced inpatient pharmacists.
