RN - Oncology

Job Details:

* Work on a Medical Oncology unit located on floors 9/10 South in the South Tower
* Tuesday start dates available
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, up to 5 RNs, and 2 PCTs per floor
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, up to 5 RNs, and 1 PCT per floor
* Estimated patient ratios of 4:1 with a maximum of 5:1
* 41-bed unit
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Perform blood and electrolyte replacement daily
* Perform sterile dressing changes with strong infection prevention practices
* Familiarity with ports and central lines preferred
* General Medical Oncology understanding preferred
* Work with Baxter pumps and Meditech EMR system
* Team-centered approach required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Dress code: Royal blue scrubs monogrammed with hospital name and hospital-approved jackets
