Open Position: RN - NICU

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

* Night shift position from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
* Work in a 17-bed NICU unit with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3
* Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Level III NICU hospital experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP
* PALS certification preferred
* Delivery experience preferred
* NICU/PICU experience preferred
* Operate and utilize Phillips monitors, Giraffe isolettes, Hamilton ventilators, RAM cannula, Baxter IV pumps, and Medfusion syringe pumps
* Use Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems
* Perform UAC and UVC insertions and intubation procedures
* Work closely with Neonatologists, Nurse Practitioners, and multidisciplinary team
* Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and ability to work autonomously
* Serve as a strong patient advocate and assist in creating daily plans of care
* Kindhearted, self-motivated team player with a priority on patient care experience
