Open Position: Lab Specialist - MLT

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1776.40

Job Details:

* Work variable night shifts from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, initially scheduled Monday through Thursday
* Schedule is set on a 6-week block rotation with no self-scheduling
* Weekend and holiday availability required
* Possible on-call or standby call requirements
* Work independently on the graveyard shift in an acute care setting
* Cover all areas of the lab including Hematology/Serology, Chemistry/Coag, Microbiology, and Blood Bank
* Must be proficient in all areas of the lab, including blood bank
* Phlebotomy is not required
* Generalist experience required
* Utilize Epic as the primary charting system, Wellsky for blood bank, URT for QC program, and Data Innovations for middleware
* Dress code is flexible - scrubs or business casual with close-toed shoes required
* Must be within 60 miles radius - driver's license must be submitted
* Must be in state for the full week of orientation even if first day modules are remote
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) via AMT or ASCP
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
