Open Position: Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

* 8-hour or 10-hour day shifts beginning at 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday with a consistent week-to-week schedule
* Call responsibilities required with 10-15 total days per month on call, combination of nights and weekends
* 15-minute call response time required
* Work as part of a CVOR team embedded within the general OR
* Common cases include CABG, vascular, and lung procedures
* Must be experienced in handing open heart procedures and working in a general OR setting
* When not performing cardiovascular cases, will assist with general, orthopedic, urology, and ENT cases
* 11 OR suites with an average of 18 cases per day
* Manager and charge nurse on duty daily; charge nurse does not take a room assignment
* OR techs available on unit
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrubs provided by facility
* One week of unit/department-specific orientation provided
* Required certification: BLS
* Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
* Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
* Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius to be considered

This acute care facility operates a robust CVOR program with 11 suites and an average of 18 cases per day, reflecting a high-volume surgical environment. The facility offers a collaborative team structure with dedicated management and charge nurses supporting daily operations. Providers have access to Epic for charting and work within a well-equipped environment that handles a wide range of cardiovascular and general surgical specialties.
