RN - Home Health

Job Details:

* Work 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
* No weekend or holiday requirements
* No on-call or standby requirements
* No floating requirements
* RNs see up to 5 routine visits per day using a point system
* Perform routine visits only - no SOCs or recertifications required
* No case management or patient scheduling required
* Common patient diagnoses include wound care, wound vacs, new ostomies, post-surgical wounds, CHF, pneumonia, and IV antibiotics with PICC line care
* No pediatric patients
* High volume of cardiac patients
* RT equipment includes oxygen and nebulizers only - no vents required
* Chart using a Samsung tablet on HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) EHR system - must have prior HomeCare HomeBase experience
* Company-issued cell phone provided
* No bathing of patients required
* Scrubs not required - neat and appropriate regular clothing is acceptable
* Orientation provided for up to one week with an assigned preceptor
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), valid driver's license and insurance
* BSN not required

This home health agency provides direct patient care field services to patients in their homes, staffing a multidisciplinary team including RNs, LVNs, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and social workers. The organization focuses on routine patient care visits and supports its staff with two supervisors available Monday through Friday as well as an administrator on call.
