Opportunity:

Inpatient Occupational Therapist

Job Details:

* 5x8 day shift schedule, Tuesday through Saturday
* Flexible shift start times ranging from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM
* Work in an acute care hospital setting providing inpatient occupational therapy services
* Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
* Provide inpatient orthopedic care, including seeing patients day of surgery
* ICU experience is helpful
* Perform evaluations, assessments, reassessments, and discharge planning
* Develop and implement home exercise programs and plans of care
* Provide patient and family education, safety and injury prevention guidance
* Assist with adaptive equipment assessments and lifting and transfer techniques
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, radiology, social services, and interpretation services
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Minimum 1-2 years of acute care experience required
* First-time travelers are welcome to apply
* Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT, Washington State License
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 professional references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
