Job Details:

* Night shift position with 36 or 48 hour weekly options available
* Weekend coverage required with 6 weekends per contract; nights coverage includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
* Travel experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Patient ratios: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother/Baby 1:3
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Unit type: LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum)
* Patient age groups: Neonates and Adults
* Daily census of 14 patients across 15 beds
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
* Required skills include but are not limited to: Labor and Delivery, Cesarean Section, Antepartum, Mother/Baby, Couplet Care, High Risk Antepartum, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Postpartum Hemorrhage, External and Internal Fetal Monitoring, Newborn Assessment, Epidural Anesthesia, Pitocin administration, and Triage of obstetrical patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation
* Self-scheduling unit
* One pre-approved time off request allowed per contract
* State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal

The Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum unit is supported by a full interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams. The facility is equipped to handle a wide range of obstetrical cases including high-risk antepartum patients, and maintains strong standards for patient safety and clinical excellence.
