Open Position: RN - Wound Care

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2604.80

Opportunity:

Wound Care RN (BSN)

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call requirements
* Block scheduling type
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy)
* Minimum 2 years of WOCN RN experience required
* Must be certified by WOCN for wound and ostomy care (continence certification not required)
* Required certifications: BLS, WOCN
* Pediatrics experience highly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Facility will provide scrubs
* Parking pass available for a one-time payment of $20 (nights and weekends only)
* Treat patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Manage adult, pediatric, and mental health wound care cases
* Perform advanced wound care including negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), fistula management, and traumatic wound care
* Manage ostomy care including colostomy, ileostomy, and urostomy
* Floats to sister facilities on like units as needed
* No floating within facility required

This facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. The organization is committed to delivering high-quality, comprehensive patient care across a wide range of specialties and services. With a daily census of approximately 150 patients in the wound care unit and an average of 8 visits per day, the facility provides a dynamic and well-supported environment for clinicians to thrive.
