Opportunity:

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Daily caseload of 6.5 out of 8 hours of contact time with patients (treatment times range from 30 to 60 minutes)
* Occasional weekend shifts required
* No on-call requirements
* Primary position in Inpatient Rehab Program with potential to float to acute care based on census fluctuations
* Work within a hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation facility on the 9th floor with 28 patient beds
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 2 to 3 years of experience with Inpatient Rehab Facility required
* First-time travelers accepted with prior IRF experience
* Current South Carolina state licensure required
* Required certifications: BLS, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
* Required skills: NMES (Vital Stim) and Modified Barium Swallow (MBS)
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Misty Grey (light grey/silver)
* No parking cost

Facility:

This is a hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation facility located on the 9th floor of a 396-bed hospital. The facility provides specialized rehabilitative care within a full-service hospital environment, offering access to comprehensive interdisciplinary support and resources. The inpatient rehab program serves patients requiring intensive therapy services, with staff also having the opportunity to support acute care needs based on census fluctuations.
